African Evangelistic Enterprise (AEE) Uganda is a Christian, Interdenominational, Evangelical and non-profit making organization engaged in evangelising the cities of Africa through word and deed in partnership with the church.
It was founded by Dr. Michael Cassidy in South Africa in 1961 as African Enterprise.
In East Africa AEE was founded by the late Bishop Festo Kivengere in 1971 after teaming up with Dr. Michael Cassidy in the great crossroads mission in 1969 in Nairobi Kenya.
The first Team members in Uganda included Zabuloni Kabaaza and Lilian Clark . Over the years many others have contributed in the Lords Ministry in AEE.
AEE-Uganda is an affiliate of the international partnership of African Enterprise, an international evangelical and development agency operational in 10 African Countries of UGANDA, KENYA, TANZANIA, RWANDA, SOUTH AFRICA, DR CONGO, MALAWI, ZIMBABWE, GHANA and ETHIOPIA. African Enterprise has support offices in USA ,UK, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, Ireland, Germany and New Zealand.
African Enterprise is governed by the International Partnership Board (IPB).
The current International Team Leader is Steven Lungu with Bishop Edward Muhima as the International Chairman.
Being in full agreement with the Lausanne covenant, AEE believes in the bible as the authoritative word of God and in the atoning death of Jesus Christ on the cross. It also affirms commitment to the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and has core values and non negotiable commitments. |
