| AEE has established vocational training centers to provide skills training to young people as a means of capacity building and provision of quality services. The following have been established:

- The Nile Vocational Institute (NVI), Njeru town near Jinja. At NVI AEE trains young people in useful skills like carpentry, plumbing, building, brick laying, food technology, tailoring and nursery school teaching.
